The Flowers For Life Mission:
• To help find a cure for lung cancer in honor of Marilyn Kitchen and the many others who are diagnosed with this disease.
• To raise awareness of preventative measures and early detection techniques for lung cancer.
• To act as an outreach group and patient support reference source for lung cancer victims and their families, to ease their suffering.
• To integrate and unite generations, young and old, through physical fitness participation, while creating public awareness and raising money to find a cure for lung and other cancers.
• To assist in funding new projects and/or programs that may improve patient care, treatment and survival of lung and other cancers.
| Our History: Flowers For Life is a charitable organization dedicated to saving lives threatened by lung cancer in honor of my mother, Marilyn Kitchen. We are located in Oklahoma City, but our work extends much further than our city limits. I promised my mother shortly before she passed away on March 12th, 2007, that I would continue her fight to triumph over this terrible disease for the rest of my life.
